Turmeric Cream Review

First review of 2016 :)

Info:
So after trying out the turmeric cream for a few weeks, I have come to LOVE IT.  I tried one from the brand called "Passport to Organics". This is a cream that is meant for your face and neck so please note that I only used it on my face and neck...not over my whole body.

There was a very herby smell to the cream which is not like any other product that I have tried before. I used only the turmeric cream for about 3-4 weeks (well, I used up the whole tube) and instantly loved the results.

I would put the cream on about twice in the morning before I did my makeup and then about twice at night before I was going to go to sleep. It dried very fast so I didn’t need to worry about my face being greasy and not being able to put my makeup on in the morning before I left the house.

I saw that straight away the redness of my psoriasis patches was decreased and the flakiness of the skin was gone. I love when a cream can so this as those are two of the most annoying side effects of having psoriasis...especially when you’re trying to put a face on in the morning.

I also found that putting on the cream made my hands super soft, which is great in the colder months when my hands get really dry and horrible from the weather...it was the perfect instance of the saying "killing two birds with one stone". I also put it into my hair line and over some of my scalp where it was bad....

I tend to shower at night and so I find that putting the cream on before I blow-dry my hair, and then again once after I have finished before I get into bed on any patches that have since dried out. I would just keep topping up the bits that dried out if my skin was soaking it all up then I had no problem putting more on! It is great waking up in the morning and feeling fresh faced...my skin felt smooth all over and not dry at all. Over night the cream really helped with the flaky bits of pso and the red patches were less vibrant. It got to the point with this cream where a lot of my patches almost disappeared :) absolutely great results...

Like I said, I ended up going through the whole tube in about 3-4 weeks and I was really gutted when the thing ran out as I was loving it so much!!!!!!! I am sure if I wasn't moving onto the next product that the pso on my face and neck would have pretty much cleared.

Price:
7/10 - I paid about £20 for the tube (I bought it off of Amazon) Since I loved this product so much and did a bit of research into the brand  - they have their own website and A LOT of different products.

Smell:
9/10 - Smells herby, but it doesn’t smell chemically, like a lot of skin condition creams - really not a bad smell at all, and the smell doesn’t "linger".

Texture:
10/10 – Just a normal, smooth cream.

Packaging:
9/10 - Lovely tube of cream; simple design - easy pump top to get the cream out.

Time Consumption:
10/10 – For me; having a none greasy cream that works well is the best! I can put it on in the morning and get ready for the day and it doesn’t bother my routine so much. Or, I can put it on at night and know that it isn’t going to make my hair greasy or make my sheets oily. Perfection.

Overall rating:
10/10 - I absolutely LOVE this product and would 100% buy it again!! No side effect at all; work really well with my daily routine.

As treating my skin condition will be a "long term investment" I popped the price as only 7/10 as I used a fair amount within a short period of time - if I was to buy one a month then it would surely add up. However, you can’t really put the price above how well a product works with a skin condition...

I would definitely suggest checking this product out and giving it a go.

Let me know in the comments below if you give it a go and your results...
